The Preserve at Mustang Creek participates in the Low-Income Tax Credit (LIHTC) program. This program ensures rental rates are accessible to individuals and households with lower to moderate incomes. The affordable housing program sets limits on maximum rental prices based on a percentage of the area’s median income, ensuring eligible households can maintain stable housing while still being able to cover other basic living expenses.
While this is not a project-based Section 8 community where rental rates are determined by household income, housing vouchers are accepted provided they meet established rental rates. Please confirm your maximum payment standard with your housing case worked prior to applying.
Household maximum income limits and all full-time student household limitations apply. The household income is based on gross annual income (before taxes and any deductions) earned and unearned from all sources including, but not limited to; employment, social security, unemployment, child support, public assistance, pensions, monetary gifts, annuities, interest income, dividends, stocks, bonds, insurance settlements, recurring gifts from family/friends, lottery winnings, etc.
